Our Friends at the Kentucky Baptist Convention

During our trip, we wrote about our visit to the Kentucky Baptist Convention (see earlier posting "Kentucky Baptist Convention"). At that time, these photos were not yet downloaded from our cameras. Now who was it that said "a picture paints a thousand words..."? (ah, the problems of brain cells disappearing - hmmm, wonder where they go?) Anyway, as there are so many connections between Kentucky and Hawaii Baptists, here are some photos to bring back the memories.

[Chie presenting a lei to Bill Mackey, Executive Director of the Kentucky Baptist Convention - our counterpart is Veryl Henderson; Joy Bolton - State WMU Director talking with group]

[Ethel & Shirley with Dannah Prather of the Western Recorder; Jonathan - the videographer who documented the mission to Otter Creek and whose video we will share with the families of the women prisoners on August 19 at Olivet]

[Danette & Sarah Beth Farabee (Don Chatham's daugher) and her son; Danette & Ted Hodge, Danette's Chaplaincy Supervisor - to whom Danette is so grateful for his support and guidance during her seminary years]
